Foundation/Finishing Powder:
The best way to apply essentials mineral makeup is with a
Kabuki Brush, or you can use a powder brush if the hairs are
not to loosely apart. You can either tap some mineral powder
in your lid and swirl the kabuki brush in the powder or dip
your brush in the powder and then swirl it in the lid. Then
turn your brush where the bristles are pointing up and
gently tap the bottom to settle the powder in the bristles.
Then start at the jaw line and in circular motions apply the
makeup in thin layers until you get the coverage you want.
Eye shadow:
Use a brush to apply shadow over your eye lids, or in the
crease, for contouring effect. Apply more mineral makeup
than one color if desired. Cover whole lid from lash line to
eyebrow, then add another color to lid (lighter color), then
one in crease of eye lid using first color as a highlight on
brow bone blend color just where they meet, the look is very
nice. Use lighter less intense colors through the day and
darker more intense colors for evening. Mix matte and
shimmer colors together. Apply them wet for a more dramatic
effect. There are to many different ways these shadows can
be used to list, experiment, and have fun.
Eyeliner:
Tap some powder into lid, dip eyeliner brush in water and
mix with powder to achieve a creamy consistency then apply
to the eyes. You can make a thin or bold line, anyway the
look will be dramatic. These colors are absolutely Beautiful
wet or dry.
Lip
Color:
You can mix your minerals in your favorite lip gloss for
added color, or add color to clear gloss. If your gloss is
in a clear 5 gram jar you can put in microwave for 45
seconds or until gloss is melted, but do not let it boil.
Pour your powder in and stir. Let it set for 5 to 10
minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: Because of federal regulations, please do
NOT use the following colors on your lips: Vanilla Crème ,
Pink Azalea, Orchid, Rosie Mauve ,Espresso, Majestic,
Chocolate Ice Cream, Cotton Candy
Blush:
Using your brush of choice, (best used with a blush brush),
apply the powders to the cheek. Or you can use a cotton
ball. You can also use to contour different parts of face
such as jaw Line, parts of brow, nose, etc. You can apply
one coat or more if you desire more color and intensity.
Bronzer:
Tap
some powder into lid and with your application brush or
kabuki swirl it in the lid, tap to settle the powders, and
apply lightly to forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. You can
also use for contouring jaw line, parts of brow, etc.
Contour:
Apply essentials pure makeup to jaw line, around nose, eyes,
mouth. You can create highlights with light colored
minerals, such as pastels, whites, & creams. Darken other
areas with browns and grays.
You can also add pure mineral powders to
your Nail Polish, Lotions, Hair Gel, Bath Gel, etc. The
possibilities are just about endless!
